Large elagent and pretty peaceful for are large cichlid. This one is about 8 inches.

That's the biggest problem with all SA/CA cichlids. When young they don't show a lot of color and in stores they are stressed and show no color so most people don't buy them. If pet stores would show adult pictures of the SA/CA stock they would sell a lot better. If only people knew what some of those little ugly grey fish had the potential to look like in a few months they would be much more likely to buy them.

I would love to see fish stores with adult fish photo's next to every tank. They would sell a lot more fish!!!!

Mine had alot of brown but other color too. I will have to find some old 35mm pics and see if I can mail them to someone that is more savvy with uploading than me.
