Thanks everyone! If anyone is interested in owning some of these guys let me know. I'll have plenty of little ones ready for homes in a month or two. It will just depend on how fast they grow.

Funny that you said that reagen. I sent 400 to him yesterday. They just spawned again and it looks like there's going to be over 1000 this time. I kept about 100 to grow out for stores around here. There will be plenty to go around. One good pair can flood a regional market real quick.
Tell Ken I said hi when you see him. I have several fish from him and he has a few from me as well.

Good questoin Fishme. They are the same fish. The pictures above of mine are just before breeding. The female is just starting to show the black underneath and slight bars. The female will not change completely until eggs are laid. The male will not change until the fry are free swimming. Only for about 5-10 days after the fry are free swimming will they both be in complete breeding dress like what Mo has posted.
