He's just about as big as the other males now. Eats like a hog! The female's still considerably smaller. Or that is the female. I suppose that's possible, and I never get a great look at them to tell. But he eats like a male. The females are pickier.

i almost got 10 of those free but didn't have money for shipping at the time i wanted to bread it with a EBJD and see what i got

This pair is in with a pair of regular jacks, a tinfoil barb, a couple of jewels(African) and a few catfish and plecos so no eggs will ever hatch if they do lay them. Too many things to eat them.
