JD, beani are from the Pacific side of north central Mexico, The Motos are from north eastern Honduras, Remember Rio Blanco means White river, lots of rivers in central and south American named that. Ken

Thanks for the info Ken. Dan set me straight a couple of weeks ago. I asked specifically and he said exactly what you said. I'm terrible with CA fish locations and understanding exactly were they come from. An area I definately need to improve on.

Good idea angel. Maybe go back and forth each month between new and old world with different members highlighting a fish they keep and are experienced with.

Exactly! So we can all learn off eachother. And then there's the lessons on non-cichlids. Plants too! I think we could have a blast and broaden our horizons at the same time. And I don't know about you, but I get asked a lot of questions about fish I don't keep. It would help to know more.
