I spent all day Sunday insulating my garage doors and resealing them. The past couple of nights have been rough when the temp. dropped. I ran my duct work out there, but it was not enough. I had to break the heaters back out which kill my utility bill. All I have left to do is insulate the attic over the garage.
My garage is a massive wreck right now with all the attic stuff in it. I should be done in a couple of weeks. I am working at my so called job so much now I don't have the time to just get it done.

We have duct in the ceiling downstairs, of course we expect the walls should be insulated being it's a room, running a dehumidifier, and a space heater and it's still cold in some tanks. Had one read 71. Really aggravated with this winter thing! Hope the insulation does the trick. And your job lightens up on you soon too! And if you need help, Dennis is available to give you a hand with the insulation. All I'd be good for would be if you ever needed fish help.

The hardest part is getting all the crap I've acculmulated all my life that I won't throw away down the narrow little attic stairs.

Concrete floor and garages are a pain to keep stable. I insulated the heck out of my room hoping it pays off. We will see in time. Sorry you guys are having troubles.

I will see what happens tonight. My room has stayed a constant 76 with one space heater on low. Last winter I had 3 running on high 24/7. Tonight will be the true test.

I have 3 tanks in the garage. I've kept them pretty stable in mid 70's with their internal heaters. I used a space heater one night only so far. I am getting a quote on an insulated garage door. Much better rating than simply insulating it with the kits from Lowes or Home Depot.

I just cut the panels to fit. I spent about $40. It should work good enough for now I hope. I upgraded my central heat and air this past summer to a 16 or 18 sear? hybrid unit. That broke me, so hopefully this will be enough.
