What do y'all use for cleaning aquarium glass? I would love to know what leaves no streaks or blue film, and it's a plus if it's not harmful to the fish so I could spray the glass and not worry about risk of particles getting to the water.

I spray invisible glass into the paper towel and then wipe.

Invisible glass--great name! The magnet thing is one thing I don't have. Been wiping the inside with the spongy brush to loosen any algae growth or hard water spots. That's messy when you take it out.

i hate the ring that comes when your water level drops in your tank... the magnet does nothing for it.

A razor scraper sort of does, but you have to be SO good with it to not get the seals. And then if you have a fish that wants to play with it that could be bad too.

The outside of the glass I just put some clean water on a rag and use some elbow grease to get the spots off. the insides.. I only scrape off the front, the sides and back I let algae grow because the shrimp eat it, and in my community tank the otos and other fish eat it. I wish I could grow algae faster!

Sunlight promotes algae growth. Do you have a window close?

I change my water enough so the water level doesn't drop. The magnetic thing is alright, but I think it could be better, Its good if you use it every couple of days and don't let it build up.

I use a magnet, and also spray window cleaner on the rag not the glass.

I found a great window cleaner! Hope's Perfect Glass. No streaks. That's what I was after.

Coffee filters and Newspaper make EXCELLENT wipes. Neither streak and both are cheap, well if you already get the paper...

I had forgotten about those! To be greener, I read the paper online and use a metal basket filter. Coffee sounds great ! Think I'll make some.
