They look great JD. I've had a total of three. The last one lived for a couple years but never got bigger than about 3 inches before dying. I would love to try again sometime, but they get pricey.

Thanks everyone. davidtcb1, the key is to get healthy well bred ones from a quality breeder. A lot of the petstore ones are not well bred. They are still a weaker fish that are prone to issues but not nearly as bad. The price on them has really came down as well, which is always nice .

The ones I've had have come from the Critter, so maybe those strains aren't strong. Like you say, I have seen them come down lately too. May try again down the road.
