They look great J.D.! And the large East Coast Gold looks like he's ready to spawn. NICE!

They have a big clump of eggs they are protecting . I did a large water change yesterday and dropped the temp from 82 to 72. By the time the heater had raised it back up to 82 they had already laid. The male is really sparkling and the female is jet black with golden tips on her dorsal fins. Very cool looking. The camera didn't capture there colors real well.

I didn't do much other then the temp change. Your the one that had them healthy and ready to go .

This is the first time guarding their eggs. I moved them to the other side of the tank til the eggs hatched and then moved the fry to a different tank with a turkey baster. Pain in the butt! But I was excited about their first spawning and afraid to take chances. I'll be watching for updates on how they do.

I hope you can get the nosibees to spawn! I'd love to raise a couple of babies from them. I'll be first in line.
