I went to use my gravel vac today and it took a lot longer to fill my bucket. It didn't really suck anything up either. Does anyone have any suggestions/ thoughts?
Thanks Rico

It sounds like something is stuck somewhere. Either that or you have a bubble. Check to see if there's a piece of gravel or a plant or something stuck anywhere in the vac or tubing.

If this is the type that connects to the sink faucet adapter, maybe take it apart to see if a snail shell is stuck and blocking the flow. Sometimes that can be an issue. Also, sometimes the faucet adapter can have a crack and needs replacing since it will lose it's pressure to drain properly. If you had a leak in the hose you would be sucking or pushing air bubbles through the hose. And if the wide end used inside the tank is under water when you noticed the problem then the leak or loss of pressure is not there, so go back and look at the faucet adapter again. And.................make sure the inline switch is open all the way. Good luck.

Rico, if you find that you need another sink connector let me know. I have a couple of suggestions since I have had to get replacements in the past myself.

It's all about the gravity. I'm assuming that you're not using the one that connects to a sink because you're filling up a bucket...
If it's not a clog somewhere (look at the spot where the wide part connects to the hose, I get stuff stuck in there a ll the time) then I would just say try to lower the output. The farther down the water has to go to get out the stronger it will pull. Also, makesure it's not kinked anywhere.
