Crenicichla Lents

I got them from John (snookn21) about a week ago for a great price. They were pretty shy for the first week. I added a pair of severums on Friday and that brought them out. They are now all over the tank. They have been eating bloodworms, mysis shrimp, and krill. No luck with pellets yet. I'm going to fatten them up a bit first before I try to make them switch to pellets.



I believe I have 1M/2F, but that's just my educated guess. Anyone good at sexing these fish??

Spots n stripes both--those are cool. Of course I don't know a thing about them tho

Great looking fish. Do they get enormous?

The will get in the 12-14" range. These were collected in the Rio Atabapo river in the amazon. They are pretty aggressive fish so a large tank is needed to house them.
