Very nice tank and fish. I'm not really very familiar with them.

thanks. They are south american dwarf cichlids. They prefer soft acidic slow flowing water, lush vegetation, and high protein diets.

I noticed some eggs with the female in this tank the other day. She is aggressively guarding her cave too. She had eggs once before but there were only a few and no wigglers ever showed up. Perhaps this time will be better. Babies would be F1 50% wild. The babies that are growing out are all wild, and I have another half wild blood brood in another tank as well.
