I took my rainbow cichlids out of the tank with the angels. The big male was beating up the angels all of the time. Well the male has been digging up the gravel in front of one of the pots I put in there and he is trying to get the other one (I guess it is a female) to spawn. The dancing and pushing he is doing is fun to watch. So maybe now that he doesn't have the angels to push around he has to do something with the energy. ;D The angels have started to show signs of trying out the pairing up. So I might be up to my armpits in babies soon. Good thing I am setting up a few 20s lately. I think I will be needing them.

I have 6 C. Sajica ranging from 1-2 in. in with my Rainbow pair. The male will run them around once in a while, but no harm is done. He was pretty easy on them even when the pair was spawning.
What do you do with your fry? None of mine have survived so far since I don't have a grow out tank at the moment to put them in.

Well I have not had any fry from these guys yet but I am going to see how it goes with them in with the parents first. If the parents will raise them then I will leave them in with them. But I am getting a 20 gallon tank ready for them incase I need to take them out. I will use it for a while for a grow out tank. I am getting a 30 gallon tank up and running to use for a grow out tank.
