things aren't looking good here.
first i lost my sunshine stuartgranti. wasn't sure if that was bloat related. then my yellow lab who was holding swelled up then i lost her too.
now i have two fish i think might be showing signs, a female iceberg hap who is hiding and breading heavy. worst of the two, my f0 aulonocara maylandi is puffy and breathing heavier than normal. not as breathing as bad as i have seen the previous two but i haven't fed them in two days though so something is wrong.
the good news is the critter is 5 mins away and they carry clout. i'm about to go pick up some of that and a 10/15 gallon hospital tank.
i plan to follow a guide i saw on cichlid-forum for using clout - www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=24132
also for the fish in the tank i plan to crush up some metro and soak their pellets in it for food over the next few days.
if any of this looks wrong or there is a better way, please let me know.

Medication required: Clout (Aquarium Products)
Day 1: Move fish to quarantine tank and treat with Clout at full strength (1 tablet / 10 gallons--remove carbon from filter)
Day 2: No water change. Treat again with Clout at half strength.
Day 3: Do nothing
Day 4: Do an 80% water change and treat with Clout at full strength
Day 5: Do nothing
**Day 6--?: Return fish to main tank only after symptoms have subsided and the fish has been healthy: (eating, swimming, breathing normally) for at least a week.
Resist the urge to try feeding the fish until after the treatment is over and do not cut the treatment short regardless of whether the fish looks better or not. If at any time during the treatment your fish seems to be experiencing stress as a result of the medication then do an immediate 75% water change.
