Well, as everyone is starting to get to know me, I wanted to say some things that I omitted from the introduction (you will see why I named this thread in a sec.). I recently moved to Fairview and back to my parents. I lost my job in May, and have been poking around trying to find work. Well I needed a distraction; I was putting in like 200+ apps a month since with no call backs yet; so I got back into my fish full force. I am running 3 of the 4 tanks I have now. 1 55 gallon pictured in the tanks section, 1 10 gallon with serape tetras, and 1 29 gallon with my pink convicts. I have had my tetras for over a year now, unfortunately no fry from them. I ran across the pinks on craigslist, and picked them up as they were a breeding pair, and thanks to Tina, I am blessed with the 8 cichlids in the 55 gal. Never was able to breed any fish that I have ever kept, and that includes guppies and I had them for almost 3 years till I destroyed the tank and setup a 29 SW. I guess I am still quite "wet behind the ears" so to speak. Now with all that said, on to the reason for this post, aimed more toward first timers.
I seem to have forgotten that I have a tv. It don't effect my computer as I have the 55 right next to it, but I can't seem to make it to the Dinning room/ bedroom/ Kitchen/ Living Room in my domicile, a.k.a. Dad's Garage. I find my self sitting on the sofa in the foyer/ restroom/ office/ guest room (basically just a one room garage as all the rooms listed are the same.), watching the fish swim. So to the new keepers.... keep your aquarium away from the TV or you will be missing your favorite shows... happened 3 times this week. ;D
