Alright... I know these two are a breeding pair. I got them for that specific purpose.... they are the rats of the fish world breeding nonstop all the time. To my knowledge, they have bred 3-4 times successfully. Since I have had them (Aug 11) they have not showed an interest in each other. They are in my 29 Gallon, Temp is steady at 80, Parameters are steady, been doing about 10% wc weekly, feed them twice a day, small amounts. The female was getting really pink on the belly about a week ago, so I was thinking that they would be breeding in a day or two, but nothing. I was looking through the glass, and didn't see any eggs/fry. The seem real skiddish too, always hide when I walk by even from across the room. Any suggestions?

Everything you've said sounds normal... do you have sand for the female to nest in? Caves for breeding. I had a hard time getting them to start in a tank with gravel, but as soon as I moved her to sand and she could do some decorating herself, I started having lots of babies.

Perhaps one or two dither fish would be helpful.

The tank is with small gravel. I will try some dither fish and see what happens.
