I took down my 33 gallon and painted the back black and put in gravel and planted it up. Once the plants take off it will look very cool. I like it now but it will be better. I bought a female Philippine Blue Zebra from Mike at the swap and she arrived today. I now have her in the new tank with the 2 male blue platinum. When she chooses which one she wants I will sell the spare male. The males were getting along with each other just fine till the female entered the picture. Now it is all about who can impress the girl more. And of course who is the tougher male. LOL. I hope you all enjoy the pics. Right after I got the tank up and planted. an other picture of some of the plants all three of them getting along for a min courting the girl more pics

That's awesome! If I wasn't having the trouble I'm having now, I would offer some foreground plants for you. I have LOTS that will work in that tank, but right now it's not a good idea. Maybe by the time I'm all fixed up, I'll have a spot for the male in my breeding program. I do have two extra females that lost their mates... a paraiba and a pinoy.

They look amazing! And I love how the black makes their color pop

Thank you for the thought but I have ordered some nice forground plants already.
Also thank you Tina, I agree that the black background makes the fish and plants look nicer.

That looks great. The black background sets off the plants and the fish.
