I did a water change on my tank in my room, and I took out more than usual. I had to because I removed the large piece of holey rock I had in the tank to give the fronts more room, and they always freak out and go face first into it when I turn the lights on.
So anyway, moving the rock disturbed the junk in the tank, and I think my arms in the tank stressed them out. On top of that, I fed them earlier. So my water change ended up being about 60% on the 125. When I put the water back in I did i the same as always, then I left to go to my parents house.
When I got home my Tiger Nasuta(tang featherfin) all my calvus and comps(4) and 3 of my Wild Fronts were all breathing rapidly and sitting on the bottom. I put my hand in and could just grab them and they wouldn't move or try and get away. So I was pretty worried at this point.
I really didn't know what to do at this point so I added more Chloram-X and I doubled my epsom salt. I just figured the ones that were breathing hard were dead and I was just trying to save the rest. So I went to bed and checked a couple times throughout the night. No change.
This morning when I cut the lights on, everyone was fine. The ones I left for dead were back up like nothing happened.
My theories are 1) my water I put back in was cold + food + stress + I changed habitat too much 2) I didn't put enough chloram-x in plus what I mentioned above 3) The smaller fish beat the fronts to the food and over ate + all above.

Glad it worked out. There is nothing scarier, fish-wise, than having to go to bed knowing they will either be alive or dead in the morning, that you have done all you can. Been there as I'm sur all of us have, it is how we learn from our mistakes I guess....

Fish are still doing great. Lesson learned... when it is cold outside, turn water heater up becasue it won't be the same. Especially after someone takes a shower and does a load of laundry.
I am going to need to get rid of some of the fish in my show tank where they will leave the fronts alone and let them breed.
