What brand(s) of cat/dog food do you feed your furry friends?
Well, I just wanted to make a suggestions. About 6 months ago I had been feeding my cat, Lightbulb, Purina. He would often throw up, his feces smelt just awful rancid...putrid...it was bad, he slept constantly, and his fur just didn't look very shiny at all. So I did some reading and learned about Orijen (am I spelling that right?). They make all natural (no grains! which is a BIG plus!) food for dogs and cats. So, I got a big bag to try it out. First it took a bit of coaxing to get Lightbulb to eat it but it wasn't too long until he loved it. Within a week of being put on the food he had SO much more energy, he stopped vomiting, his feces didn't smell not NEAR as bad (trust me...it was just horrendous), and his fur was so nice and shiny. The food was a little bit more expensive but WOW! In the long run I really think I saved. That bag lasted me a whole 3 months! Because of it being all natural he gets full quicker so he doesn't eat as much (which means no overweight kitty either!)
I really recommend this brand! I also used Acana (a sister brand) with the same great results. Sadly the only store close to me that sells it is out in Murfreesboro. Cute little shop though with all natural food, treats, etc. etc. It's called Stones River Pet Supplies.

I do not have any cats, but i have had golden retrievers for over 20 years.i have fed foods over the years, and purina pro plan has been a good food for my dogs. I uesd nutro for a good while and heard of not so good reports. Having said this, i think some animals do better on some foods than others. I love my golden and price is not an object as to what food she gets.

Agreed! My boyfriend argued and argued over the price of this cat food, but I love my Lightbulb and want the best for him. In the end, it ended up costing us less.
