I have a couple of high tech tanks but it is my low tech tank that I love the best. It is a 25 gallon tank with a lot of different plants in it an 9 baby bn plecos, I have no count on the endlers(there are alot!) or the cherry shrimp (the same alot), and snails. I use an undergravel filter and a sponge filter, a bubble bar in the back heat at about 78 and a bag with peat. I also have added the almond leaves to it. The light is only a regular light with a daylight bulb in it. Here it is in its entirety. The picture does not do it justice at all. I have been watching it and by noon the Riccia has pearls on it. Not a lot but I was told that you had to have co2 and high light to have pearling on the riccia. I also have a lot of color n other plants from pinks to dark purple. I will put up some of the pictures. Just remember my photos looke washed out. I am going to reset up my 44 corner and going to make it a low tech tank with plants. I do water changes about every 10 days now and it is doing great. This is the tank that if I had to choose only one I could keep. I do sit next to and just watch all of the life in there. It really is probably overstocked with all of those endler babies and cherry shrimp but it is doing fantastic. And has been the most trouble free tank I have.

Thanks I appreciate it that others like this tank also. I was just amazed that the riccia is pearling. It doesn't even pearl in the high light tanks with co2.

Looks great, and the low maintenance of planted tanks is great too. With the riccia, is the pearling after a water change, or everyday?

That's awesome! I don't have any riccia anymore, I don't think. It would always find itself shaded under some other plant and eventually just died off. I've still got the two high tech tanks, but I'm thinking about taking off the CO2 from one and changing it to oxygen so I can start shipping fish in the near future. I'm starting to be overrun with guppies and plecos. I also finally got some new fish for the reverse quarenteen and everything is going well.
