I put in back to back 12 hr days of drilling tanks, drilling airline, and drilling water line. We have to get the glass tops tomorrow, but other than that we are done with what we are going to do for now. Now we just have to sit back and cycle.
Tanks 8 10g= 80g
70 15g= 1050g
28 20g= 560g
50 30g= 1500g
2 40g= 80g
total= 3270g
What's left for near future-
4 125g= 600
2 100g= 200
total when project is finished
4070 gallons
I will change out 20g and 15g for 30 breeders first chance I get in a couple years.

Very impressive, Jon. I know it's early yet, but do you have a plan developed for sales and shipping? Will most of it be done via online auction sites like Aquabid or through a website for your business? I'd have to think you're very excited in spite of the long hours of work. Heck, I'm excited for you.

I will do aquabid, ebay, website, cichlidforum, local advertising, flyers, whatever it takes. For shipping I am getting air cargo through southwest, and fed-ex next day or ground to certain locations. I have it posted on my new website- riftfish.com under the shipping section. I can ship next day ground in TN, AL, KY, Ark., Ind, Ill, Vir., Geo., Mis, for about $15 a box. So I am going to hit those areas hard with ads.
On Aquabid, I am going to mainly focus on a box mix, which will be 10 species for $5 each. On Ebay probably the same thing.
Sales are slow for about everyone now, but I set this up with no debt/lease and this summer should be low utility, so I can take my time building a name.

I tried and I messed something up. I will try again, but it will be under riftfish. I might need a few reviews on cichlid forum too. I am getting my sponsorship up and running.

I added first africans to 5 tanks today. My fingers are crossed, everything is testing well, except temp is fluctuating. If they are alive friday, I will bring all my small fish over and make order in a week or so. I will post list a few days before I order.

You are more than welcome to one day on your way home from work. I get there by 4:30 everyday. When I get it up and going 100% I will have an open house for everyone to come by and check it out. Maybe we can make it a club meet.

Sounds great. Let me know when you start shipping. I can hook you up with some CA/SA stuff for your list.
I'll contact you sometime soon. I'll be nice to see your setup and have a cold brew and talk some fish.
