My 150gal Tang tank (Pic Heavy)

Here are a few pics of my 150gal acrylic fish tank I just redid the stand it is over 35years old. My father-inlaw gave it to me over 15years ago.

after I rebuilt the stand and painted it plus added new hardwear.


When i got my 1st order of fish in from Reserved stock Cichlids out of NY ,Doug is a awesome guy.

This is about one month after i ordered the fish! they have all made the tank thier home ,and are starting to show color at this point.
the Cyp's

the part of the tank the MUTIES made thier home! they dug a huge ditch! lol nothing gets colse to that part of the tank with out getting run off.

the Occies own this sections. (filter needed ajustment because it was moving my sand off the shells. build a spray bar for the FX5 filter to fix this problem ,and moved the Occies shells further back.

this is the Alfa Male of my Occies he turns almost black really cool fish when flexing his fins at othere males lol.

2ed addition to the tank also ordered from Reserved stock cichlids. 10 more cyprichromis microlepidotus sibwesa ,and 6 Lamp. Bemba's. the bembas went to a 6 gal eclipse tank. cyps were added to my 150 gal. the fish showed up and were not even stressed out at all.

Achange i made to my rocks If you notice the slate (flat) rocks stacked up high. this was to give my Xenos more room to lay and spawn. they love it

the Xeno male went stright for it and started displaying

Thanks, Here is what i started with. The stand was built by my fatherinlaw about 20 years ago or more. He build the original stand when he lived in Kwajalein Island he use to dive and catch his own saltwater fish!

Here is what i started with. i was going to build a new stand but this one is vry sturdy! it was build out of Cedar ,and that wood felt almost pertrified lol.
