That's the one right by the front window right? You changed out the substrate? Who will be living there? Do you have angel babies growing out yet?

Of course there will be fish in it. LOL I would never have a tank without some kind of fish in it. I will have tiger endlers, cherry shrimp and pleco babies in it. I might add some corys later, I will decide that after I have it done. Yes Hannah it is the one by the window. I took it down and painted the back black and changed everything out completely. I will be adding a few more plants and the fish today later on after I get back from my daughters house. I will post pics when it is done. I cannot wait for the plants to fill out though. I am selling all of the angels I have. I think both pairs are sold right now. I am done with them. I am going to be getting in rare and small fish in the next couple of weeks. I will post pics as I get them. I am very excited about it because these are all fish you rarely see in the hobby and I know you cannot find them anywhere around here. Common fish are not what I want anymore. I want the hard to find and keep and breed. More of a challenge for me. I will have my endlers and some SA & CA that I like. I am still trying to find and buy a very special guppy and having a bugger of a time finding it again.

Nice, You know it is because of looking at your planted tank that I want to do a Ram ,and Kribensis tank with plants! lol I seem to just love All dwarf cichlids. the plan i had when starting back up my tanks was Breeding all shellies ,and dwarfs... it seems I got side tracked from the plan ,and need to pull it back in prospective. the bigest fish i want to own ,or breed will be clavus, and comps but they are still shellies in my eyes.

I agree with you on that. Since they spawn in caves or large shells they are definitely shellies. I like Rams and apistos. I have already done the apistos so I can say been there done that. LOL I have never done rams and I still might do them at some time. I am going to pretty much have all soft water fish. And all planted tanks. I cannot wait for my new fish to get here and show them off. I soften my water naturally and do not have the ups and downs of chemical softening can do.

how do you soften your water? That's about where I'm at too, which you know. All soft water fish. I use straight RO and reconstitute it with dry ferts for the plants. Except I use tap water for my display tanks now because I can't make enough RO for the volume I have now. I have three water storage containers which are all 30 gallons and it takes about 2 days in the cold weather to both fill them up and heat them. When the weather gets warmer and the tap water isn't cold, I'll be able to use it immediately instead of heating it first. That will be good.
