Sometimes you get lucky. I have yet to get that lucky trying to get free tanks. It will be great with plants and some rams. You will have to get pictures when it is set up. Are you going to paint the back black? I have been doing that to all of my tanks. As I am resetting up most of them before I put them back up I have been spray painting the backs and I really love the look better than looking at the wall behind the tank. LOL.

Yeah I will paint the back black..I am not going to set this tank up though until after the fish swap. And maybe even wait for the fish room to get finished.

You have the right idea Glen wait till after the swap and see what you bring home. You never know what you will find there and just "have to have" LOL. I talk from experience.

My husband used to have fits about me bringing in new tanks and fish etc. But he has given up knowing that if I find something I want I will get it. LOL He even brought home a tank that one of the guys he works with gave him. He knew I had fish tanks and he was just going to toss it out. So now Tom has even joined me in acquiring new tanks. LOL I wore him down. And he even enjoys my fish somewhat now.

I think I can get my wife on the band wagon also..Lol If I just slow it down a bit. I have changed my game plane a bit. I had been out of the fish hobby for almost 4 years before 6 months ago. We moved to Madison form Athens, and I gave all my fish away! I had 2 main tanks set up at the time that I just loved. 1 had a colony of Frontosa Mobas adults and the other was Tropheous Red rainbows. When I moved in to the new house Jessica was like we just don’t have a spot in this house for your tanks sorry! So when she saw after 4 years of trying to find a new hobby, and having no success doing it. (Lol I was breeding Tarantulas! you saw the few I had left lol.) I told her I really would love to do fish again! And bam just like that she said if it means that much to you go for it... I am sure she wishes she never said that; D So I kinds of started wanting every Cichlid from lake tang! , and when I found the Cyrichromis I wanted all of them! I think I blew $500.00 in one weekend buying fish... I am now changing my plan and only going to breed Shellie’s, and cyps. I like the Shellie’s because they will breed in 10-20gal tanks, and thrive doing it. Also I believe once I show them to people, and start selling them they will love the way they act in tanks! I mean come on they pick up shells two times their size ,fight with each other ,but not hurt each other ,and are always in plane site! I have one Gold Occie that will bite my finger when I clean the tank! Lol it’s so funny. Sorry for the long post lol.
