Just watch for constant nipping. You should be fine until breeding time.

Everyone else is so much better in weight than that one. I cut down on the food like you told me but he hasn't reduced at all in size.

once they start breeding will be hard to stop them. I bought 8 from Jon earlier this year at 2" and they are all now 5" and I have gotten over 300 fry from them already. I culled about 100 of them however. Now 5 females are holding again.

The male looks way different now.

does your male turn all red during breeding ? I only ask because My male gets super red while in breeding dress. Luckily he has 5 females with him so he is breeding alot. at other times he looks like a normal firefish, I think I'll post some pics of him in both phases

Not beet red. Very similar to Jon's avatar. I have two females possibly three. One is too small to tell yet. He does fade some when he's not interested.
