Nice. Do you like the FX5s? I got one for my 220 bowfront but haven't started running it yet...just out of the box, that thing is a beast!

My FX5 is sitting in the garage because i did not care for it. ! Main problem is it does not fit under most tanks so cleaning it out was a pain in the but! ,and so if you use sand forget it. It pushes so much water that the sand will move and pile up. I even went as far as building a Simi spray bar out of PVC to make the water flow from the right side to the left of a 60"x24 24 tank. the sand still moved ! lol so I guess i will try and put it in a tank with out sand next!
I much rather just have 2 over flow Aqua clear 70-120s runing the tank because they are much easyer to clean ,and maintain. IMO a 5gal bucket filter is just to much to clean.

Hello Mike and Courtney ! Looks FANTASTIC ! In the living room where you planned ? Is the 75 still set up in the bedroom ? What's in it ?
When are you all thinking of driving to Jon's ? I may be up his and JD's way one day next week myself. Hollar man ! Rick

FX5's setting in garages? Say it ain't so. If you decide you want to sell it let me know. They are a pain to clean but are by far the most efficient canister filter on the market. They can handle a huge bioload and really only need to be cleaned 2-3 times a year.

Yep, they got a nice little discount for prepaying before I ordered. It took me about 2 hrs of bagging.

Shute. I didn't know when they were coming. I was thinking maybe next week and since JD and I will be meeting up, I thought maybe I could meet up with them too. Oh well, another time I reckon. Next week, whatever day JD and I decide, I hope to get by or meet up with you too. I need some of those cards. Maybe you could give a bunch to JD over weekend if you see him and he could get them to me if your schedule is busy next week. Whatever works.

If we can't meet up I can bring them to Franklin. I am usually over there everyday during the week by 5pm.
