Hi all! I'm Joshua. I'm new to the forum. I hope I can help people out here, and I hope that i can get help too. Anways, I was wondering if anyone had one there wanted to get rid of or new of a store that had one for sale. I'd like one that was 5-6 inches big.

Maybe Roger can help on this one, but I've never heard of one that color. Glad to meet you and thanks for joining.

I'm no expert, but that looks like a Sunshine Peacock to me. They were available at Aquatic Critter last I was up there. Franklin Aquarium in Columbia has them, but they're not my favorite store right now.

Josh, It sounds like a Aulonocara Baenschi Peacock. Also known as a Benga. The sunshine is a Aulonocara Maleri. Both have blue faces with yellow bodies. There are several variants of the maleri peacock with different colorings. Is this what you are talking about?

I was going to go to the Critter today and get frozen baby brine shrimp and poke around but never got there and ended up going to Franklin Aquarium in Columbia for them. I don't like them lately but I needed the shrimp. Anyway all they had was the big sunshine which is same colors but different markings. It was I think 20 bux.
