Hi All, Thought i would update some pics of my fish.
I wanted to share some of the cyprichromis most, they have really started to show thier adult colors, tobad I cant get a really good shot of them...
I also had to move 3 of the 5 male Cyp katate that i had in the 100gal!. I have no females for them as i lost the 3 i had when they were young. but soon after i bought another colony of cyprichromis microlepidotus sibwesa, turned out having 3 males 4 females. the problem that i started having was that the male Katate being "leptosoma" type who not let the Males from teh Sibwasa breed with the females because the Katate wasthe Alphas over the tank it seemed. I moved 3 of the 5 male Katate to a 180gal I did not move all 5 because i wanted to make sure the 3 did ok in the new home (better to only lose 3 and not all 5)
They seem to be doing really good ,and took to the move well thier color is alot darker in the new home.... they look awesome I am sure the othere 2 males will be joining them after next weeks water change.
Here are a few photos of all my cyps. the cyprichromis microlepidotus sibwesa have take over the 100gal tank ,and I hope for fry soon! (fingers crossed) Thier colors are so amazing sorry my photos sux! lol I have a friends that is a pro photog. that i will have come over and take some better ones some time.
