Greeting to all club members & to all registered forum members !!!
I would like to call to EVERYONE'S ATTENTION that there are some differences in the term activated and non-activated that is found in each of your profiles.
Each of you has a profile, created when you first registered for the use of the forum. At that time, an e-mail was sent to you automatically from the forum system. It was asking you to click that line in your e-mail to register your account/profile within the forum system.
There are numerous individuals who have never done this !!!
I have learned with some research of our forum process, that if I ever send out a mass PM or a mass e-mail to all of you, that the message will not arrive to any of you that have not activated your accounts.
I am of the belief that there has to be other reasons that this system we use has this choice in place for each of you, but for the life of me, @ present, I have not found it.
So, for now, me not knowing of any other reasons------------
If you want to receive any mass e-mail or mass PM from an officer, your account/profile needs to be checked and updated by each of you.
If this doesn't matter to you, then forget it.
But,................like I said before, I am unsure what else this does for each of you.
As the President, I can see and do everything on the site.
I am not sure what the limitations are for each of you if you are not activated.
I suggest that all of you look @ your individual profile and update as needed. You may have to go back to your original register date, listed in your profile, and find that e-mail to follow this change.
Let an officer know if there is issues.
Also, Jon is going to be giving a short open ended discussion @ our swap/meet on the most efficient ways to use our new forum format, and if you have questions re: this subject or a forum use subject, bring them to the meeting and hopefully they will be answered.
( We have 2 other speakers for you also.) ( TBA soon. )
