Hello all. Glad I found out about this site on the cichlid-forum. I am born and raised in Middle TN and have been in to the hobby for about 8 months. What started out as a 20 gallon tank for my 3 year old has turned in to a 55 gallon and 75 gallon in my living room. Although this hobby can be expensive it is very calming..lol. I am still new to the hobby and will have tons of questions. My noobness has also caused me to over stock at times but luckily I have a LFS here that takes some off my hands when I make a mistake. Glad to be here and I am looking forward to getting all the knowledge I can from you.
75gal: 1 Jack Dempsey Male 1 Green Terror Male 1 Geophagus Litabia(Sp) 5 Giant Danio's 1 Common Pleco
55gal: 1 German Red Peacock 2 Female German Reds 3 Venestus( I know I need to get rid of them but they are Juvies) 1 Borleyi Red Fin Male 1 Borleyi Red Fin Female 2 Striped Rapheal Catfish 1 Common Pleco

Will do as soon as the water clears up. Just finished doing a water change so it is still cloudy. Black gravel is horrible to keep semi-clean! lol

Nice looking fish. Thats a good looking male Jack. The geo you mentioned is actually a gymnogeophagus. Probably a male labiatus from the looks of it. You may want to consider at some point trading it out as your jack and GT will eventually get a little aggressive for it. Plus they tend to prefer a little cooler water.
Welcome to the forum.

I would love to trade him out but no idea what I would want to replace him. The JD has already killed my Texas Cichlid but doesnt bother the Gymnogeophagus.
