Are you looking for a piston pump or a blower ? How many tanks do you plan to run, or how many outlets ?

Log onto www.JEHMCO.com They have good prices on various piston pumps and blowers. If you call them they can be very helpful in recommending the size you will need, and suggesting all the hardware you will need too. I also agree with Reagan, a piston pump will save on electricity consumption. I have a piston running over 100 sponge filters right now. Does fine. The various options on this web site also will explain how many outlets each will operate at a given depth. Based on your #'s above, I would think you would be best managed via a piston pump. But, the blowers are described too.

Not sure off the top of my head what the brand is. I'll look at feeding time later tonight and tell you later.

I have about $330 invested in mine after shipping. I can even through in about 20 of the brass air valves that are about $1 each.

Glen, $200 will only buy you a rather small piston pump, but a good one. That would be new though. Just won't run a lot of tanks. 25 or 30 outlets. You would be smart to go larger, IMHO. The one Jon has is on sale for $300 from JEHMCO, new of course, but with no shipping and no valves with it. IMO, Jon's price ain't to bad.
If you want to keep looking, keep an eye on the dry goods of Aquabid and on Craigslist and E-bay. These rather large pumps aren't around all the time though.

Been there, done that. I actually installed 2 new breakers in our box and bought 200' of 14-2 romex and ran 2 seperate lines to my fish room. Often wish I had run 3. May someday add another. The piston pump is a good deal, especially with the valves included. Good luck with the wait, and the electric wiring. Wiring not difficult, just time consuming. If you have never pulled wiring, you need to ask a few questions, so you do it safely !!!!!
