Does anyone have any experience with snowflate moray eels in a Saltwater tank? Pros vs. Cons
I purchased a 110g salt tank with two occupants - a niger trigger and a blue dot grouper.
I would like to purchase just one more fish and the compatibility charts mention the snowflate eel as a good choice.
this is a Fish only with live rock tank with basic lighting right now.
I also want to add a cleanup crew (hermits and snails) and wanted to know how hard the eel would be on them (guessing the trigger is already going to go after this cuc).

Pros, They are awesome!!!!! go for it Cons, ESCAPE ARTISTS and will eat smaller fish. I am pretty sure this is the most recommended type of eel for a saltwater setup not to mention the fact that they are beautiful....

that's good to know because it does seem like a very interesting addition to the tank , the other two fish are a nice size already... I did read I better watch feeding time or I might get nipped - LOL. but I read the trigger with it's fangs could do that too.

I have one in a biocube. Cons mean and blind, so they bite first. I have been more than nipped.
Pros, my sons favorite! They dont mess with coral

I do 5 gal water change every week, dose with purple up, and feed mysis shrimp daily. It is in my sons room and he uses the moon light as his night light. All the starfish and other random creatures come out of the live rock at night. I have a damsel, snails, crabs, eel, and coral. I will post a pic when I can take an updated one.
