2012 Officer Election Information

*** ATTENTION ALL MCAA CLUB MEMBERS ***

As many of you are aware, if not all of you, we had the nomination thread open for a week in November of 2011, just last month, in order to accept nominations for the four (4) MCAA officer positions for the calender year of 2012.
There were four (4) spots to be filled: President, Vice-President, Secretary, & Treasurer.
We had one nomination for each of the positions for 2012.
They were as follows:

President; Rick Easterly
Vice-President David Lewis
Secretary; Jessica Puffenbarger
Treasurer: Ben Gates

The normal process, as per our MCAA By-Laws and Constitution, is to have the election in the month of December following the November nominations.
Since there were no duplicate nominations requiring a vote for the upcoming year of 2012, we will be forgoing the normal process of the December voting process.

Thus,... Please welcome YOUR 2012 MCAA Officers for what we hope will be a productive, fulfilling, and fun filled year for all our current and future fellow hobbyists !

There is going to be a date selected in mid to late January, 2012, by the incoming and outgoing officers, for an open MCAA club business meeting, at which time all of the club business to date will be discussed, along with the official changing of the officer positions. As always, the date, time, and location will be posted on the forum, once chosen, and all will be welcome to attend.

As some of you will notice there are now 7 officers listed as moderators for the time being.
We wanted to allow your two new officers, David Lewis who will be serving as your 2012 Vice President, and Ben Gates who will be serving as your 2012 Treasurer, to have a week to chat in the staff section with the outgoing officers, and for time to review how the actual forum and club workings come to be among officers. This way, on Jan 1, 2012,your new officers should be ready to take the helm with the your other officers in leading us into an exciting and productive new year.

On another note be aware that a date, time, and place will be chosen soon, and announced on our forum, for the Jan.,2012 MCAA open business meeting, which all are encouraged and welcomed to attend.
