I am officially back into the hobby! My new tank is up and running, hopefully I will be stocking (fish and rocks) soon. Special thanks goes out to Mike at Angels and Corys for helping me seed the new tank, and donating the yellow lab to help set everything in the right direction! Here are a few pics. I bought the tank used and gave it a good cleaning, it was filthy! I sanded and painted the stand, and put a new Fluval FX5 filter on it. Attachments:

Nice! I hardly ever see white stands, but I really like the way it turned out.

One of the nicest setups i had seen was a 90g show tank with white stand, white canopy, black background, greyish/black substrate and a bunch of tangs

I wasn't sure about white either, but it matches all of the trim in the room. I am liking the way it turned out, I still have pewter fish knobs on order from Lowes. Hopefully, I will have some cool fish pictures to post soon  . Thanks for the kind remarks, Merry Christmas! |
