Sunday I replaced my gravel with pool filter sand and before I was finished my kribs were digging & making little caves. The female has been in the cave for a few days and we suspected eggs were involved. Tonight my wife was looking in the cave with a flashlight & saw them! I got babies! ;D they just look like dark sand but they're wiggling away. I just hope that they don't eat them. Any advice?

Now that they are born, I would let nature take its course- and feed crushed flakes.

Less than a week old and the fry are nearly 1/4" long and very active. The parents are super protective and chase the danios up to the top of the tank when they get close. Man, Kribs are awesome parents!

Congrats. Kribs really are great parents. I had a pair several years ago that would breed in a community tank and I would usually end up with 8-15 babies making it from each batch without doing anything. Plus they are pretty popular and most pet stores will give you some store credit for them.
