Cool fish!!! What do you think about those geos? I have been considering them for quite some time. Depends upon what type you want. The one posted on here is actually found in pretty hard water and does great in our tapwater. Some of the amazon eartheaters do not do as well in our water. Most of them live fine in our tap but do not spawn in it. I have fry growing out from that male that will be ready in a month or so if you ever want some of them.

I'm closer to you than the swap. Just depends on what size they are. I have a few big fish in my 120 that like snacks.

I have a couple of 3" ones left from the last spawn that I planned to keep but could probably part with them. Thanks, that champ is still a baby. He's maybe 6-7". Lots of growing left to do.

Sure looks funny seeing you with a tank full of Africans. Of course, you put together a beautiful selection like you always do with your tanks. If I remember correctly, you came across a good deal at an auction and kind of bought them on impulse, right? How are you enjoying them? You still have those gorgeous red Severum?

He passed away a few months ago. I had him for 6-7 years, which is probably pretty good for a line bred fairly week fish. I still have the best male peacock, all of the others I gave to others more into africans. I really enjoy the larger haps though. I enjoy larger fish and they provide that with great color. They do not have the attitude of CA cichlids but I can also keep a bunch in a tank which is nice for a change.
