While I would not want to push it too far... if you have overbuilt your filter and use a refugium, can you push past the 1.5 inches of fish per 5 gallon limit, even a little bit?
The expense of setting up a 55 g reef hurts alot more when I think of only haveing 4-4 inch fish LOL

Yes you can. In salt it is a bit morr tricky. I spend mote than i like just in salt water. With fresh I just step up the water changes. The refugium is vital to absorbing nitrates and giving you more time between changes. Alot of it also depends on what you plan to stock it with.

Thanks Jon. The plan as of now only includes gobys, blenys, and damsels with assorted inverts. We are just trying to put together a list of what is possible and still maintain the health of our critters.

In a 55g you will be fine with that. I hear bad things about damsels. I own one and it seems fine to me. From my experience if it cost over $15 i will kill it.

Guys I have a good idea for those of us who don’t want to look for a girl every night just to have sex. All you need is to go to this site escortmalta.info and find a call girl for yourself.
