Well I did a small wc this morning and did some reaquascaping. It seems the black Calvus are much more active and staying out in the open more. Hopefully they'll start eating more in the next day or two.

Still not eating very much but I have seen them "snacking". So I guess that's a good sign.

A h20 change always seems to liven things up. It's like a natural rain. Glad to hear the news.

I think when you are no longer a "stranger" to them, things will straighten out.

Have you considered some dither fish, Jess? I hear they can make some of the shyer tangs like calvus come "out of their shell" so to speak.

Are you saying I should throw in some tetras? I have about 9 tetras that I can throw in there...

Good NEWS! I did another small wc and then fed quite a few flakes and they all seemed to be out and then I saw one eat a huge piece! I think I've got success! Thanks for the encouragement guys.

Well now I'm a little worried. There are a couple that I've seen eat small pieces but then this morning I saw 2 of them take a big piece and spit it out... YIKES! This makes me very nervous. Any suggestions?

Find out what Jon was feeding them, then feed the same to these fish. Remind me on Saturday and I will give you some frozen brine shrimp - they have to eat that!
