FYI for all registered forum users and club members:
I took office as your President just under 1 year ago right now, and we had 182 registered forum users and approximately 20 club members.
We now have 283 registered forum users to date and close to 50 club members.
Good growth in 1 year, IMO, and it is because of ALL OF YOUR EFFORTS, that this is and has been possible ! I applaud each and every one of you !!!
We need to continue the efforts, as we now have approximately 30 to 35 who log on and post or talk on a daily or semi-daily basis and we need to get this number over 50 each day to connect our club to the ACA (American Cichlid Association) When we can accomplish this we will be in a position as a club to possibly host one of their events locally, which would be a terrific boost to our club, and theirs.
Can we achieve this in just one more year ? I don't know, but we are well on the way and the last years growth has been terrific, again, IMO.
I am proud to have led this group of such terrific people this far towards this goal, and so many others ! All of you are GREAT !
Also, for all of you, be aware we have the Spring swap/meet being planned for sometime in May, details TBA soon, and this will be our second swap/meet with guest speakers and programs. We also have the monthly picture contest panning along well, with the first award program for it scheduled in May. There is also discussion within your board of the C.A.R.E.S. program and a BAP program, on whatever scale is feasible for our group.
The chat line program was scrapped for now as we need all participation on the forum and encourage all to use this route as the means of communication, again to up the numbers of participation towards a common goal of gaining numbers to reach a common goal.
Rest assured your board is not sitting idle, but many discussion are under way. All may not materialize this very moment, but growth continues in numbers of participants among us, and with programs we want to implement when the timing is correct for them.
As is said, patience is a virtue, so please continue to participate on the board, encourage others to join us, spread the word of our existence to any who will listen, and provide your input for ideas for growth and fun. We are all about fun, and want to make sure all who visit here learn as well as enjoy themselves.

I just thought you might like to know of some stats to realize we continue to grow and prosper and that we continue to make plans for bigger and better things for all !
