So far I've found a flight from Nashville to Malawi for under $1700 round trip. There are other ways to figure flights, by purchasing a leg of the flight that ends in Europe and one that begins in Europe ending in Malawi. I'll continue to research that, along with flights to Tanganyika. We could then travel by car, bus, or possibly train to Malawi--or just get a commuter flight. Hostels can be booked for under 5 euros per person per night. If a lot of us go, $180 a day rents a 12 passenger van/bus.

Thanks Angel, I am interested but will be a couple of years of planning before I can do it. When I go to the convention I will check to see if any groups there are planning a trip.

Cool, when you get there call me and we can meet up for the auction. So we don't bid against each other on the same fish.
