There is a large pleco there too Rick. I almost said shovelnose but wasn't sure.

From the angle it was swimming it did kinda look like a gar ! Looking at it from the front you can see the nose is flat and wide. Either way it is going to be a monster !! LOL !! I have seen them on River Monster a few times and it was just about all that the guy that does the show could hold up for a pic. !! Awesome fish though !!!

Yeah I would think so....Ya know Jess that 150 would e great with a sump,,lol Anyways...what kind of catfish is that? Well you wouldnt have to drill anything. Has an overflow box. I wish I could do a sump but I think it's tempered glass. At least that's what the sticker on the bottom of the tank said.
