How to post a pic

The best and easiest way to post a pic on this site is to use photobucket. To ensure that it loads quickly we have to resize our pics. This also helps the user because once a pic is on photobucket it can be erased from your hard drive.

Step one is set up accoount on photo bucket

Step two is load photo

Step three is click edit, and then resize. I resize all my pics to medium.

Step four is name and save

Step five is copy and paste the img code, it will be the last one under the pic.

After a couple weeks I might start slowly moving them to the appropriate boards where people can browse them by the lakes.

That will definitely work, bunnie. That type of code is usually referred to as BB or forum coding. As long as you have the URL to the image, you can use the code.

Hey is photo shop the only option? I have all my pics on Picasa and can't get any to post here without a link. Can someone help me please!

I don't know anything about Picasa, but I think any of those type programs that provide an IMG code can be used here. I use Photobucket as well, so I don't know about the other sites.

Picasa doesn't like to link here correctly. You can try Flickr to preserve the image quality.

when I use the picasa image code nothing happens. So not sure what I need to do? I guess to show you will have to upload to photo bucket also.
