well I went out to find some Neolamprologus Mondabu fry. I didnt know for sure if I had a pair out of the three I got but I do. Problem is they had them in a tank with Moba's ,peacocks, tropheus and a blue ahli so they are snack. May try to move them to their own tank.
also got up to some more Demasoni. I have a bunch of these little buggers now.

The Serpae tetras in the 90 tall spawned for sure as I saw the sliver fry this a.m., but all gone now. Proof they did what nature instilled in them. Maybe I'll condition and separate and try again. Anybody here ever spawned these little guys and willing to offer advice/technique ?
Meantime, I have some LF BN L144's and I have taken advice from a wizard among us and separated the male from the 3 females and will re-introduce at a later date to see what results I get. Fingers crossed please.

My male is now in a tank alone. Should I put him with other males for a specific reason or will he be ok alone ? Is there a goal of putting all males together ?

so,... is your suggestion that i should add the 3 females to the male tank later, whether one male or a group, instead of moving the male back with the females in their female tank ?

yes Mike. I got 17 from you originally. I lost 3 of them. all the rest are breeding machines now. It took them getting their own tank to breed but they started soon after I added the 3d background which was weird but now I get tons of fry. They are hard to tell when they are holding and even harder to strip but they spit the fry in the tank and none of the others seem to bother them.

Rick i would watch my females and when i see them fill up with eggs then i put the male back in with the females depends on how well you feed them as to how long it takes for the females to get ripe.
