Our 2 year old grandson doesn't always call me Grandma anymore. Now half the time I'm AngelFish!

I've got 15 perfect little angelfish babies, btw. Egg layers are proving to be easier so far than mouth brooders!!

Joe helped with some great advice. I bet you could if you did what he does.

Maybe after I finish school. 1 tank has to be my limit for now unless someone around Knoxville just gives any away.... I wish I knew you all when we left Nashville. We gave our 55 and 2 29's to a guy we met that day because we had NO room on the Uhaul. One of my worst days ever... I was pissed at hubby....

We were moving to a MUCH smaller place and had not even an inch to spair. Tanks would have sat empty. Atleast they were used. I hated it though. This time if I buy another 55 gallon it will have a prettier stand, you can bet on that.

Struggling with that right now. Dennis built such a nice stand from blocks and wood for his tank that we were thinking of putting ALL the tanks in the Wreck Room on ones like them. But there's one tank that I love the stand. It's cheapo but it's black and has a black hood and is just gorgeous the way it is. There are two matching cherry colored stands too but it wont be the end of the world if we part with those. We're planning to go all LED lighting too. Saves money and looks good. Might get that room looking nice yet!

Is the black tank made of like press board with laminate over it? We had a 20 Hex. In time the stand will break down. Switch before you are super attached!!!! We bought mine just because I thought it was soooo pretty... Looks do not always matter hu?

Yes the kind they sell in WalMart. I know his cement block and plywood stands will be much sturdier and look great it's just tough to look at it and think of taking it down.

I completely understand!!!! We stopped using it when we moved once. I loved the stand since we hid all supplies in there but...
