My only egg tumbling experiences involved a female regal blue peacock as the tumbler . Took a few tries to get the technique down just right... which in the end involved jailing Big Blue, Evil Witch, and Dopey in a separate tank. -Rick (the armchair aquarist)

Well I might start making some I will let you know how mine comes out, it has been some time ,and I want to try out a few things. ;D I work with a lot of engineers ,and I want to get some input from them. If i start making them to sell I want them to be top notch, and not fail like the ones i see on the net. So give me a few weeks I should have something coming out soon. I would love some imput on this though forsure. Maybe we can even get a % of the cash that comes from the profit to go twords the club. who knows. Everyone out there wants a good qualiy egg tumbler ,and 90% of the ones out there are really garbage.

I have a female WC Kapampa Frontosa that eats/spits her eggs at the three day mark every time. I was researching an egg tumbler and found the following: www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/diy_tumbler.phpI like the water being filtered prior to entering the egg chamber that they have incorporated into their design. I ordered the carbon cartridges talked about in the article and they should be here this week. I'll let you know how it works.

My only thing with those is for pleco eggs or Frontosa eggs that is really to small. I use to make mine that same way just with out the filter at the bottom. you use to beable to buy the cartirges at pets mart but i think they are out dated now.
likes/dislikes
like: I like the way it does filer in the foam. easy to make. Dislikes: the carbon cartridge is plastic ,and the holes are kind of spaces out so im my exp is was easy to bruse the eggs. I think is better to have soft netting ,or screen as the bottom so even if they bump it to hard they will not bruse. They are way to small for Frontosa eggs, the ones I am going to build will be about 3"+ Dia. because if it is to small the eggs can stack up on eachother and not get tumbled causing then to get fungus.
Please post pics when you get your built ,and let me know how it works out.

i have bought just about every tumbler on the market and i been workin on trying to take the best parts from each one and come up with a design that will work. i will try to bring one or two of the tumblers to the swap meet so we can all get our heads together on this.
