That's interesting. So you have never had any seem to choke to death from any seeds ? I don't think I have, and actually mine will chew on and consume most seeds, but then I have been removing any big ones

Good to know. I had read in times past from several members of PlecoWorld that they removed large seeds, so I have been following suit, especailly with cucumbers, but like you said, I too have had no deaths to my knowledge from any lodged seeds in gullets, so I might just abandon the seed removal practice. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me
I do find cucumbers to be less expensive than zucchini, but if you can't get really small ones the BN don't seem to go for them as well. Little ones they eat just like the Zuc. and Squash. Can't get mine to take sweet pot. much though, blanched or raw, although some hobbyists swear by it.

Nice male ! I still have no L144 male, and the search continues to date.
Hey,...I have been told in the last couple of days that BN love red and green bell peppers and french green beans from the can @ the grocery. Any knowledge of these foods anyone can share ? I have tried none of them to date, but am thinking about it.

i was told if you buy the green beans in a can be sure to get the ones with NO SALT , i have never tryed any of those all i feed is the zucchini and romain lettuce and alge waffers. if the red bell peppers don`t hurt them then i would think it would be really good for their color
