I am thinking about setting up my 220 ad a high tech planted tank.
First 2 questions It has a large dump for filtration. Won't this remove any CO2 that I enject?
What lighting system would you recommend? The tank is 6' and 30" tall.

I cant give you much helpful answers here but thought i would give a little help since you werent getting any response. The Co2 question i have no idea about but as far as lighting its all going to depend on what kind of plants you want to try. If i was you instead of jumping head first into a huge tank why not try a planted 10 or 20g first with low light plants so you get the idea of how to plant, how to trim, how the lighting works and what not. You may find out this isnt the road you want to go down and you saved yourself a lot of money or you figure out what works and what doesnt and makes changing over the big tank that much easier.

I've had high tech planted tanks before. It's been a few years though and lighting options have changed a lot. I mainly just wanted to know what fixture someone that grows them for a living would recommend. I think the sump is going to be a deal breaker anyway but wasn't certain.

I use compact Fl. lighting on my planted tanks. I have 10 tanks planted. IMO the ones with less depth are doing better. I have 10's, 55's, 75's, a 125, and a 90 tall planted. the 90 tall is the one doing the worst and I believe it does not have enough light to the bottom. The 10's have algae issues and I believe there is to much light on them. My 125, 55's, and 75 are doing the best. I have tried the DIY Co2 w/o much success. I have part of the components to make a couple of them hi tech co2 tanks, but have not completed the setups. I have tried injecting the "Cidex" method @ 1cc/10gals. and it seems to help when I do it every few days, but I have not done it consistently.

I recommend using a quad buld T5 HO light, set maybe 3-6 inches above the top. Start there and if the growth isn't what it should be, then lower the light. Start off that way, so you aren't swimming in a sea of algae from the get go. I recommend that based on the following article and measurements you have provided. 'http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/showthread.php?t=105774
Also, all lights are not created equal, you need to find something that has a good reflector to maximize your light out put. Catalinaaquarium.com can make custom lights and have great reflectors. Other brands are noted to have the same quality, but I am not familiar enough to recommend a certain brand. See that the reflector shows multiple bulbs for each single bulb, that is a good reflector

It would be great if people could make love when they would like. It seems to me, then such services would not be relevant, because there would be no need to fight them, no one will pay for sex!

What nonsense are you talking about? I think that, firstly, this is impossible, and secondly, this is complete nonsense, free love only sounds good, and so the spread of genital infections and other problems!
