No ads placed yet other than several Craigslist postings in various nearby cities and a new flyer to the critter via Ryan.
I also put two ads on other forums.

Terrific Mike. Thanks. Will you all please post or tell someone about our planned swap/meet please ? If all of us tell just one more person, we can get a bunch more folks there !!!

I posted the swap info on the ACA Facebook page (since apparently no one reads the genuine ACA web page). Hopefully this will generate a couple of fresh faces!

Thanks so much Scott !
I have sent personal invitation e-mails to both Presidents and the members of the East TN and the West TN fish clubs.
Has anyone posted about our Fall 2012 Swap/meet on other forums like the plant forums or the cichlid forums or the guppy or angelfish forums, or the.................................. ?
Will several of you please do this ?
It takes ALL OF US participating to make our group grow and prosper !!!

I missed the part on who found the place for the club till I saw her today. Jennie and Eric do not have forum accounts but wanted to make the swap happen (they read the forum). They will be there and I hope we can all give them our thanks. Eric loves hugs A LARGE TERRIFIC HUG AND THANK YOU TO ERIC AND JENNIE AND TO YOU TIM PINDELL !!!!! IMHO this is a terrific location !!! I realize several of you had contacted me over the last 6 months or so asking for a location in the Nashville proper area, and let me assure everyone that a lot of effort was put forth many weeks back to find such a place, but no affordable, safe, and convenient location was found in Nashville. A temporary committee of 4 was asked to look into it along with a couple of members actually driving by locations, including myself as well, and many phone calls were made on this same behalf. IMHO, this location, as was the first one that Jon found, a terrific location for us to conduct our swap/meets. Once all get used to the drive, I believe it won't seem excessively far to a few of you who will have to drive further than a few others. Locations can change later if needed or desired, but for now this just seems, on the forefront, to be an excellent location and I want to extend a large and hearty "THANK YOU" to Tim, Eric, Jennie, Jon, David, and the 4 at large committee members, Ryan, Thorace, James, and Mack !!!!! I am pleased to read this thread and see so many positive remarks ! I had nothing to do with getting the location. All hugs need to be directed to Eric and Jennie

Does anyone have an estimated head count?
Please anyone bringing anything wet, understand the floor is wood. Please use caution.
To keep issues at a minimum I would suggest staying clear of the pond.

I tried to log on to post announcement on " The Nashville Pond Society" but it appears you must be a member to access their forum and/or post.

No estimation of a head count. In the past we have averaged about 50 folks and the last 2 have had;.......... 58 last fall and 54 this past spring. Maybe that helps a little. Would it not be just great to see that number grow to 60 or 70 something !!!

May we have a volunteer or two to bring a mop and several towels in the unlikely event there is a H20 spill ?
We have never had a water mishap to my knowledge @ any of our swap/meets, but we should never say never, huh ?
A volunteer or two please. Post your intent right here. Thanks.
