Yes, but instead of being in the sump area it will be it's own tank. The systems water should benefit from the plants plus I will have a place to grow cherry shrimp and some other neat critters. So I should get Nitrate scrubbing for the entire system and still have a tank I can use.

Placed my Jehmco order today for the pump, returns, bulkheads, and cutting bit. Looking forward to getting water circulating. Still a lot of work to go.

Going to order my Mattenfilter foam filter soon. Anyone else need anything from Swisstropicals? These are a little pricey for large tanks so I'm going to order a 5-6 at a time until I have one in each tank. I'm hoping that will a central filter, mattenfilter in each tank, a planted tank inline, and a constant fresh water drip I never have to do anything but vacuum the bottom of the tanks every month or 2. If it works like I think it will I should have fish spawning an fry growing like weeds.
Anyone see anything wrong with my thinking? I'm getting really excited to get this rolling. Can't wait to get some fish in a couple of months.

Got another rack built today that will hold a 90g and 75g. 2 more left to build then it's time to start drilling tanks. I need to get some acrylic cut this week so I can get my sump built.

All tanks are drilled and on the racks. Drilling the tanks went well. Got to get all of the over flow boxes siliconed on and all of the backs painted next. Then I just need to finish the sump and run the plumbing. Definitely should be up and running by the end of february.

I'll be off work Friday to work on this project and hope to have thew system running by Saturday at the latest. Still trying to decide on the best method for the return water from the tanks. I'm excited to see if everything is going to work. The return pump looks huge so I'm a little concerned that I went to big with it.
Still haven't placed my poret foam order. Going to do that soon.
