Hello everyone! I just joined the site yesterday and I am starting to learn my way around in here. My name is Drew (plecoman) and I live in Columbia, TN. I'm was looking for a wanted section but haven't found one yet. Is there a "wanted" section on the site where we can post fish or other items that we would like to acquire? If not, I would like to have a couple of gold nugget pleco's. Where would the proper place be to post an add like this?

Welcome. There is a classified section on the board, but my understanding is you have to have a minimum number of posts (25 maybe?) to get access to it. Look around the board and any time you see a subject that interests you, don't hesitate to put your two cents worth in. You'll have the required number of posts in no time.

Hello all! My name is Matt, and I have 3 tanks running right now. A 75g with Angels, Diamond Tetras, Zebra Loaches, Otos, and some Cories. I also have a 5g in the kids room with a couple Dwarf Puffers, and finally what helped me find y'all, a 55g I want to set up as a Mbuna tank. Thank you all in advance for the help and advise!!!

Hi Matt! We can't wait to help you into your Africans! And I have a few diamond tetras as well . They're gorgeous! I want more. Do you breed the angels? What's it like keeping puffers?

Ya, the diamonds were the ones my wife wanted, and I'm glad she did! They look great! All the different colors that reflect off of them is amazing!!!
The puffers are new for me. We actually just got them yesterday!!!! The only part I really worry about is their teeth growing, but hopefully it won't be so bad!

I have always loved puffers, but never had one. They're said to not get along with anyone else, and be somewhat sensitive. So I've chickened out. Besides, once finding cichlids there's no limit to getting new fish!

I know that the beak of a puffer will wear down, depending on what you feed him, also if he for what ever reason "chews" on rock then the beak formation will be slowed. Just like when a dog digs, digging helps wear down the nails. At least that is what i told about the beaks.

My oldest daughter has always liked puffers also, and with just have the 5g in there, didn't want to overstock, so we just went with 2 of the puffers and will leave them be alone.
Thanks Jody! I had also heard that if they are fed snails that will help them keep them worn down. Now to just find where to get some MTS!!!

Talked to TMom about the snails. She has plenty! She should be contacting you.

Hey everybody. My name is Will and my girlfriend and I have just gotten into keeping fish and are pretty much hooked already. She's in here under plantsamber I believe and I guess i was asking some questions under her profile that she already had answers to. So to avoid anymore abuse at home I figured it was time to make my own profile. So here I am. I am an avid fishermen and outdoorsmen so keeping fish only makes sense.
