My wife and I decided to do a little fishing today. We caught a boatload of fish but nothing worthy of having a fish fry. I did manage to bring home a Rock Bass and a Longear Sunfish for my tanks. They're both about 3" and so far seem to get along. Though the Sunfish will eventually need his own tank, they're mean little S.O.B.'s
I'll post up some pics tomorrow once they get settled in.

The bass were great but they'd have to go I want it for africans haha I haven't fished in forever. Dennis doesn't fish. I fished so much before I met him my kids could bait their hooks at 2 yrs old.

I missed my yearly trip to the duck by the dam for some trout fishing. Gald to here that the river is down and fishable.

Going fishing again here shortly, then we might do a little canoeing later this afternoon. Angel, I talked to someone yesterday at my buddies canoe rental and he seen the basspro trailer too, he said it was very cool. I would liked to have seen it. Sirknight, which dam? The Duck is finally back to almost normal after a record breaking rainfall for May. Though the forecast for today and most of the rest of the week is calling for more rain

Joe, sounds like your the man with the plan. You just gotta make sure your hook is baited, LOL! Well, 11 hrs later and we're back home. We caught quite a bit of Red Eye and Blue Gill. Took all the kids on the 1 mile canoe trip, thats about all the little ones can handle, it only lasts about 30 minutes so it's great for the youngins. Then we ate some ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, you name it!!! I really enjoyed the weekend and I hope everyone else had a great Memorial Day weekend too. Now, time for some sleep, you know, got the whole "job" thing to do tomorrow.

LOL, Mike!
Joe, I've never tried fly fishing. Looks like a lot of skills involved, but I'm sure it pays off once you get a good rhythm going.
